About
Alan and Inge are a husband and wife team who love their work, which they undertake with great sensitivity and understanding. Alan Bowman Photography has been established since 1998 and Inge joined the team in 2002. They are passionate and dedicated to providing you with the best professional service and a range of quality presentation products.
Both passionate about our work and our natural, relaxed and sensitive approach to wedding photography reflects the demands of the modern bride and groom. This combined with a unique observational style enables us to produce an intimate, personalised record of your most important day.
We can offer for you a combination of colour images which will capture the vibrancy and beauty of the bride and grooms attire, a range of beautiful and contemporary portraits in various locations in the reception grounds. Along with black and white reportage images that capture the atmosphere and mood of your wedding, and create that elegant, timeless and classical look.
Being a professional member of the SWPP and BPPA and carrying full professional indemnity insurance we feel that you can be assured of a personal and professional service throughout the entire process of planning, shooting and creating an album of the highest quality, as a lasting memory of your wedding day.
Wedding photography has changed, no longer is the wedding album simply a collection of group photographs of the bride and groom, family and friends. It is and should be a lasting memory of the events and unique moments of your special day. For the last 10 years we have been capturing the atmosphere and emotion of the many weddings we have been privileged to attend, with a collection of images which represent a more intimate and personalised style of photography.
Using the latest high end digital equipment allows us the freedom to use a more journalistic, reportage approach. Of course there is still a requirement to capture those formal images of you and your family which we will be pleased to carry out.
When planning your day consideration should be given to the time the photographer needs to take your wedding pictures. We offer unlimited coverage of your day beginning at least two hours before the ceremony continuing through to the arrivals at the church or civil venue, the ceremony, departures and onto the reception where we stay until the time at which you sit down for your wedding breakfast. Or at your request, for an additional fee we will stay until after the wedding breakfast to capture the speeches and the first dance.
A planning meeting is essential to organise the days photography and we always meet with the couple two or three times before the wedding.
